Image Branding is required to build a new company into a recognizable and trusted company in the eyes of the consumer. Global Healthcare Resources was a new branch of a young company in a market that had never seen its name. The company's primary goal was to find nurses in Asia, and give them jobs in America. Strategy: Its design needed to appeal to professionals in the medical field including US Hospital Administrators as well as Asian Nurses and their families. There was a lot of complex information to convey. I kept the design simple, and worked with the copy writer to keep the information as simple as possible. Blue and white colors and simple, open design were chosen to convey feelings of calm, trust, cleanliness, and professionalism. The business had two major fronts. One was to sell the hospitals in the US the idea that nurses from Asia are a valuable asset to their hospital and community. Second was to sell the nurses on moving their family to America. This second part was much easier. The situation was unique in that the nurse, and the hospitals are both customer and client at the same time. There were expandable binder-style books created that taught the US hospitals about each country where the nurses were coming from, and the levels of education to expect. There were also expandable books created that taught the nurses about the hospitals, and the states that the hospitals were in. There are many paths to the same goal. How many of those paths can your business accommodate? The clients' needs varied, and the customers' requirements varied. The information packets had to be flexible and customizable for each nurse applying to the program. Business cards were made. There was a full service website created with areas for both the nurses and hospital administrators. The design of the website had to support expansion due to rapid growth of the business. All of these elements (fliers, advertisements, handouts, binders, business cards, and website) required design standards to reinforce the brand image. 'Earning the customers' trust' was the foundation that I used to create the image of the company. The materials created were very effective in communicating information and building trust with the customer. The professional branding of the materials created a strong company image that attracted partnerships among the competition. |
